Steering Wheel Shake

Want to know what to brakes/springs to buy?

way to test the piston with calliper off? or just keave it ticking over and have som1 press the brake pedal?

ye you can test but its alot easyer when your looking at it if someone is pressing the pedal lightly not hard or else you can loose alot of fluid them tell them 2 realise it if one piston stays out thas the ceased one or could even be both you never no till you have a look hope dis has helped a bit :D

ye if the problem is the calliper and the disk is warped a good long drive should put the disc rite again no nead 2 get new ones if you dont have to but if it still wabbles you will have to get new ones anyway :)

hoping the on off shake is meaning it ain't the disk, time will tell i guess

forgot to mention.....it only shakes WHILE braking, maybe 1 of the pistons isn't coming out properly......

ye exactly dats it just have a good look and see wat u can find and the reason its on and off is all different reasons could be the way it heats up or the type of day it is (wet dry so on) and the piston mite move some days and not others just try it get a bit of wet and dry rub down the piston then rub copper grease around it and just wipe out the piston houseing and put some more copper grease in will only cost you the price of copper grease and time wont do any harm just to have a look

Could be the wheel bearing, jackup the car and shake the wheel to see if there is any play or movement, just replaced my left wheel bearing, its was vibrating on and off, once I jacked it up the wheel was moving all over the place! (scary)

All fixed now though :mrgreen: :mrgreen:
