Postby patk » Thu Sep 23, 2010 9:38 pm

really should have done this along time ago but have an hour
bought it about 3 years ago pretty standard with lightweight flywheel and a set of ssrs that i regret selling for a song
always wanted one in black but wasnt gone on the white wheels.

so got myself a rear and front strut brace

ssrs that were on it

changed the ssrs

planning to respray those wheels in the future.
got a nice toms badge for the steering wheel

got eyebrows and blue zenons but was never gonna be happy with those yellow headlights. lets the front of the car down so changed them for shiney new ones genuine toyota, dark gold types, expensive but worth every penny
Image
and finished the front with a vertex bumper.
Image
next went at the engine and added a cusco air panel, skunk2 rad cap, autobann rad hoses
Image
got the rocker cover sprayed and did a bit of polishing
Image
got a double din headunit tv dvd etc..
Image
custom and performance 09
Image
some smart disc holders and visor that has come off due to nct fail
Image
few of the garage pics

changed a few bulbs in the clocks for the red look

looks good, not a fan of the wheels or the potential half red look though.

that show photo's a rarity - models that are actually attractive at a car show

no. being thinking about the wheels for a while now and i have these options:
respray existing alloys? thinking gunmetal gold if that makes sense!
change and get new 17 alloys? cause at the ride height, 18s are gonna be worse, not to mention retracking, adjustments etc.
keep them the way they are? cause the missus had to sign for the leather interior the other day
change and get 18s? cause if i was spending major money on wheels it would have to be 18s
:?
to be honest i think id rather invest in upgrading the brakes.

why upgrade the brakes wen theres no power? waste of money

save up an get decent wheels and the car will look so much better!

wheels make an brake a car!
