Won't work as the 3SGTEs are FWD or 4WD engines (MR2's engine literally a FWD engine anyway), and the oil galleries etc won't work with out car cause the engine would be mounted the other way, head different too, and manifolds won't line up.
If it was able to be done many would have jumped on that boat by now
