So whipped off the rocker cover an with this I could work out that id buggered a few valves so the hunt was on for a new engine I found one but I have to add I had decided to turbo the lex so I thought while I was gonna have to do a engine swap would be easier to tap the sump while the engine was out so I cracked on an I had got me a 2jz manifold to chop up an a is200 one so as I had a head to used this came in handy to make my manifold

Round the same time I made up the lines for the turbo and made the oil tapx2 so someone else could do a conversion but with better internals

An that be one is200 manifold chopped

Now I know my end product isnt the best looking manifold but she works so I chopped off the external waste gate part an capped it off then used the old head to line everything up yeeee haw
And might I add all while teaching myself to weld

So I bought a saab 900 intercooler but decided it was to bit id have to chop out the crash bar so I hunted around an found this mondeo one fits nicely between the bar an bottom pannel I had to get the mig out and stick some brackets to the bottom panel to sit it on an make a bit of metal to fit onto the support for the bonnet catch this lined up perfect with the existing holes in that
