Im pretty sure no other fly off buttons fit our cars without additional machining

Hi All, Im new to Tezzaworld. I have recently had a go at making a spin knob for our cars from the drawing originally posted on this forum. I came across it on the Altezza Club forums and through I would post the results up here for the International Community.

I had to modify the drawing a bit to get it to work, but it does work.

the only major changes I made to the drawing were to take 10mm out of the total length, and to add a slight taper to the main shaft ( 13mm diameter at the front edge and 13.5mm diameter at the knob end).

Hey man. Just saw this...Any reason for making it 10mm shorter? Does it stick out too far? Im guessing the taper is for clearance?
