ImageGreetings! Welcome to Tezzaworld website, unfortunately you are a few years late to the show as nearly everyone has been and gone, there is still lots of useful archived material to read through, not many active users unfortunately, but that’s the way it goes, hopefully you are not too disappointed...

well if it was like mine when I bought her she had the 2 inner boot lid lights disabled Brake/side lights and made souly into fog lights, but some have them under car a few differences, now I made mine work as brake lights, side lights and fog lights
worth a check
put side lights on first check them the flip the switch and see what happens, had the exact same switch in all 3 of my imported cars, slight difference being some had a illuminessence light or on on/off light

I've got exactly the same switch just in a different place for the rear fog.

My rear fog is in one of the reverse lights.

I have 2 buttons like this, one where yours is has a little light on it, this is fog lights for me, tried and tested.

the other one makes some kind of compressor noise happen in the engine bay, and I am unsure as to what it is so I leave it off lol.

any ideas?

maybe it's like the abs button and I have been driving around with it off all the time lol, glad I leave breaking distance lol ;-)

mine stays off all the time now that i can afford tyres

Peter do you take the abs motor relay out whenever you skid or do you just put up with it?

i swear this car is the worst for it, every time i touch the handbrake it activates the abs pump and the pedal drops to the floor when it is needed the most. i destroyed my front bumper in my mates yard when i forgot to switch it off.

Its funny you mention it now. ABS kicked in pretty bad and didnt slow me down at all on saturday. Think it was one of the reasons I went up the hill  I was thinking of pulling the motor, because the fuse it soo much hassle. But wiring a switch is an awesome idea. The thought crossed my mind on saturday right after the crash

I normally just skid with it on, royal pain in the arse
