2nd hand discs a bad idea?

hi guys got a quote from the local auto factor for 90 quid for brand new front discs because mine are slightly warped but ive come across a few 2nd hand sets for cheaper. would i be as well off going the full whack for new ones?

My discs are warped to f*ck aswell!

Definatly buy new mate, remember to do the pads at the same time though!

thanks guys, before i do anything with the discs i must replace lower wishbone arm and balljoint. the damned thing popped off at 70kmh last night and drove the wheel up into the front quarter panel!! :( :( :(

must be a common thing disc's warped, by new or guaranteed/warrantied second hand parts that are genuine

you got there before me mike. no reason not to put good secondhand ones in. i got secondhand ones few years ago and they were in very good condition and a fraction of the new price. they were got from a reputable breaker so if they were fecked then they were going back.

Put it this way, If it was condoms you were buying would you ask for 2nd hand or new????? They are both a safety feature after all... :D

why would you want second hand condoms have you ever tried to put one on that has been opened out unless they do a service that rolls them up again :roll:

so as a safety issue with the comdom view.....dont bother with breaks on the car :lol: :lol:
