This week I managed 647 km's for a full tank of petrol.
This is defo the most ive ever got outta my tezz,
I must admit the empty light was on for a long long time haha, was waiting for it to cut out.
Thankfully it didnt

Just wondering how much do the rest of you guys get to a full tank of petrol?

When I bought tezza I did my testing by first 5 full tanks of petrol, always same result - 600km

10l/100km or 25MPG I'm very very happy with that score! Car is heavy and mostly I'm traveling to work in traffic.. One more reason of having true-jap car 8)

What engine are you guys running to be getting 600km/tank?

I've just aquired an RS200 with the Beams engine and 6 speed manual box and currently working my way through the first tank. I've currently done just over 200km with only about 1/3rd of the guague to go which would suggest only 300km or so from a tank :? Or is the half way mark on the guage not actually half way through the tank?

Also, what RPM do you guys run at while sitting at a constant speed (30, 40, 50, etc)? In my old Saxo if I kept between 2 and 2.5k rpm at constant speed (30 was 3rd gear for example) it would run nicely. I'm trying to keep it around there in the Tez but I'm assuming this is the wrong place to be with it being a very different engine?

[Edit] Hahaha. I've just twigged on my drive to work today that since my car's speedo has been recalibrated to mph that the Trip Computer now reads in miles too  As it happens I'm looking good to be getting a similar MPG to the other 'eco' guys here! Winner.

   I must be a right tight c*nt ...... Dont think ive brimmed the tank in over a year!

I usually only put £25 of V-power in at a time .......

I figured id get better MPG if i didnt have so much weight sloshing about the back

I get roughly 25 MPG at the moment with mixed driving

As said though ... I didnt buy the tezza for economy. Ive got a more economical car for that

Hegartys stuff is gud but I find hickeys, (or Billys as its known as now) the flesk filling station to usually be the cheapest in Killarney anyway. Rumours that Tralee are 5c cheaper than killarney, haven't been so dunno...

i havent properly checked with full to empty just usually put in 30 - 50 any time it needs it but i think there an anti christ on juice to a stupid point. Granted they are a 2 litre car but not offending anyone there not overly powerful or fast. Ive ran m3s and sr20s easier and when you look at the fact there 3.2l and turbo charged respectively and have wayyyy more go i was very dissapointed in the altezza. I think that its letting the car down massively as there a nice comfy cruiser in general
