Was just messin with another lad n a tezza 2 ni and found out mine is restricted, i no from experience with the Levin the rsm de restricts, but the speed wasnt matching the dial and wrecked my head, also b4 i put in the rsm i went past 180km and it never slowed down, is it possable it was already de-restricted :S anyway so is there any othe method of de restrictin the tezza, cheep enough, also what difference will it make, the levin was de restricted with the rsm but when i went past 180km the rsm was only showin 175km so i knever knew what difference it made if that makes sence ha, cheerse lads

Surely it was de-restricted on import as the kmh had to be converted to mph?

Does it read in kph?

I'd take the RSM off and give it a blast!!

I had a levin with no rsm and it use t go way past 180 before it hit the limiter think its just down to an in accurate speedo yr rsm would have been giving you yr correct speed, as for de limiting yr tezz without an rsm its possible but yr engine management light comes on an stays on.. there is a topic on here somewhere about how t do it..

No if u use an rsm or sld everything will b fine, but there is a way of doing it without using either of them but that makes the light come on.

all jap cars have at least a 10% discrepancy past 100kms. use a gps to get a true reading. my tezza did 158mph with the toms t.e.c 2 ecu in it. gps proven. have standard ecu in it now it limits at 120mph not 112.5mph(180kph)
