Anyone know what the difference is between a 1 way and a 2 way LSD? Anyone have a non standard one fitted to theirs. What exactly does the diff do?

lets put this in perspective... Monster Mats 500+bhp car is still running the standard torsion differential....

all cars have a differential.... it's a LSD ( limited slip differential) thats important in sports cars....

2way is for track only.... actually supposed to be dangerous on the road...

all in all the torsion diff works very well, wouldn't think anyone would change it unless it was damaged or they had more money than sense...lol

No just curious as i thought an after market diff would be cheaper than a brand new factory replacement

There very noisy too. Bang and rattle when going slow and parking.
Very good for diffing though

Same as Tez. cusco 2way. noisy allright but is a lot tighter than a standard diff. all depends on what way you like your car to handle... the difference between a 1.5 and a 2 way lsd is that a 1.5 locks up only under acceleration while a 2 way locks up on both acceleration and braking. thus can be very dangerous for an inexperienced driver in a rwd car :!: or more fun for someone who is more experienced
I BEG TO DIFF-ER!!
