De-cat pipe?

Postby Dan » Tue Jul 10, 2007 10:20 pm

Any idea where i can get one lads and how much? Does removing this affect any of the sensors that might be on the cat pipe? Does removing the cat make the exhaust louder?

The handiest thing to do is try to get another centre section and keep your cat for NCT time. It wont affect any sensors cause the O2 sensor is in the manifold before the cat. I think it makes more of a rasp but not sure if it makes much with standard exhaust

i have straight pipe, didn't make it that much louder, but thats the last thing i want, my system is no louder than stock (silent hi-power) which is how i like it, i let the engine make the noise ;)

it does pull better on low rpms though... well worth it... but remember, it will stink rich on idle!
