Most kits come with an adaptor plate that goer between the oil filter and block with two outlets for the lines to the cooler. Be careful to watch the flow directions on the adaptor and the cooler. Can be very bad if you mix them up.Most adaptors have holes for sensors to put guages for temp and pressure

so where the oil filter comes off the block i just put the sandwich plate in between the block and filter.
should be easy enough. 8)

Ya that's it. Quick enough job. Mounting the cooler is the hardest job

any one know where i'd get get a good one for a fairly decent price. can you get the one with a remote filter housing?

Seen one on driftworks for around £250 ish with the remote filter and cooler. Its a kind of generic one but there is no great difference between dear named ones and generic type. Quality of the adaptor and fittings/hoses are the important things to look for
