Does the camcon control just the intake cam and not both? how does this effect the engine? as the exhaust cam is still being driven by the unaltered ECU signals, could there be a conflict?

not too sure doesnt seem too, turn it off an it goes back to factor ECU settings, 8)

not too sure wat category they go under mate doesnt reaaly explain wat it does on the site, it was a bit of a risky buy i was just resurchin them when the girlfreind bought it for my birthday but defo recomend it now, havint got it on the dyno yet but feel a good bit more torque right up to were the vvtis kick in it controlles the cams it allows you to ajust the cams up to 20 degrees more or less an it controls the air flow, if thats any help :lol:

Would it not be more useful to get a more low end torque set up since thats what the altezza needs badly i.e below 4500rpm

The CAMCON-T allows you to take unrestricted control of your VVT-i valve timing into your own hands. Along with this, the ability to control your A/F will allow you to more efficiently and precisely tune your vehicle giving you a higher level of performance and fuel economy.

TOYOTA VVT-i & VVTL-i
The CAMCON-T controls the VVT-I timing +/- 20 degree in 15 different points of 500rpm increments within 2000rpm to 9000rpm Range.

A/F is controlled -10% to +20% in 17 different points of 500 rpm increments within the range of 1000rpm to 9000rpm.

Was looking at these myself today thinking of ordering one myself. But is there anyone in Ireland who can set them up properly?
