Supercharged v's Turboed Altezza.

Postby Miss S15 » Fri Nov 07, 2008 9:52 pm

Which would win do ye think?

Reason for asking this is my mate is after getting a supercharged Altezza in from Japan and already has a turboed one.

We were just talking about this today,in a race whihc would win or would it be close?

Anyone have a supercharged/turbo on here?

Yeah you don't get any "tubro lag" as such with a supercharger I think.

Suoercharger should give boost lower in the rev range, so should be a bit quicker in a sprint. Turbo may have more at the top end.

all depends on the set up with the turbo to be honest and what work has been carried out on the engine. i have a factory turbo altezza has a compression ratio of 10.5-1 and is running .6bar boost so i have virtually no lag when i'm over 2500rpm full boost @ 2500rpm obviously. low boost and high compression ratio= very little lag :)
I BEG TO DIFF-ER!!
