Some of the lads working in parts department are thick. Trying to explain stuff to them is impossible and then they try to tell you some story about 'oh an import, that part will be six weeks'.

Thanks for that noel. I rang both toyota garages when I was getting parts and both said they wouldn't be able to get stuff. Was up and down to cork for the stuff.

That could be a very dangerous statement you just made Dizz :D
You will be flat out getting parts for all of us now.

Just seen this post here, I had one of the coil packs pretty much literally melt in the engine going back a number of months ago. I had loss of power two or three times for a couple of seconds before, then opened up the rocker cover down at the garage and the pack nearest the wind screen was knackered!!

We swaped over one from another altezaa and everything was fine until I lost power again the other day for a few seconds again so Im thinkin it could be recurring. Have to wait till tuesday to open up the cover as my rachet set aint got a bit to get the bolts out :( Hopefully this isnt it and Ive got something serious on my hands... :?: :?:

On a side note, could this cause an issue with my ignition from time to time aswell

Thanks
If my life was something that I'd planned, I'd be pretty píssed off with myself for planning it like this! Not anymore!!!!!
