ImageGreetings! Welcome to Tezzaworld website, unfortunately you are a few years late to the show as nearly everyone has been and gone, there is still lots of useful archived material to read through, not many active users unfortunately, but that’s the way it goes, hopefully you are not too disappointed...

I need your HELP!!

Postby Flex » Mon Jul 14, 2008 8:40 pm

Hey my friends, when I mash down on the accelerator from a stop position to pull off there is a dead spot for a sec and then the car picks up. Any suggestions will be appreciated, thanks :(

A friend of mine said it's a thing with these cars (auto) to avoid wheel spin when pulling off. What's your take on that?

its not the trc

ive the same thing with my bmw . when i floor it the car takes a second or two to register the fact that my foot has hit the floor.

the only way you will have good quick pull offs from stop is if you keep your foot on the break/handbreak and the other foot on the acc . this way your already reving the car.

i dont have a auto altezza so im just guessing its the same thing.

im sure noel will be along shortly and can answer for sure

If I keep doing that my next post will be, where can I get a Trany? :D

I'm not looking for wheel spin, just a faster take off :D
