How to get to the OCR

Postby okolatsis » Sat Jun 28, 2014 8:24 pm

Hi All,

Can anyone tell me how to get to the OCR to give it a clean out?
I can see the sensor on the right hand side of the engine but im not sure how to get to the filter.

Has anyone got any links to the owners manual?

Thanks in advanced.

Hi,

There's two sensors at the front of the engine. One on either size, isn't one of them the oil control valve?

I'm pretty sure there is no secondary filter as it uses engine oil so the engine oil filter is the only filter. Why do you want to clean the sensor out? Take the cam cover off and take off the (not sure what they're called) the bit that holds the cam bearing and cams in place. But only take the front off it comes off in one big casting, the valve is in there. Just be careful as it will spit some oil out
