Just finished installing the 4.8 final drive,the car felt more aggressive like its on steroids,have'nt tried it on the freeway yet...
The 4.8 makes the car feel so light,cruising on 3rd gear 80kph,2000 rpm,when you step on the gas a bit,the car would accelerate like the car had a small turbo...i havent tried full throttle yet,but so far its a great mod...let you guys know how it feels on the freeway....

wow nice to hear this..but where did you get that from?
I know the trd version only goes up to 4.55..what brand is yours?

And was it difficult to install?

Got the final drive from a U.S. version 4runner (front diff),the best part about these final drives is they hardly use their 4 wheel drive,so the ring gear and pinion looked almost new...the 4runner (LN166 or LN130) front diff uses the F series diff,the ring gear, pinion and other components are indentical,so it was as easy as just swapping them

i have tried the car on the freeway last weekend....im having mixed feelings....since i enetered the freeway until i exited (about 53kms driving in the freeway) i was in 6th gear the whole time,no problem overtaking in 6th gear,the power is right there as soon as you step on the pedal.
i was running around 130-180 and i would slow down at times (cruising at 100kph) for a little break because i was worried about the engine staying at high RPMs the whole time (but my tuner said it is no problem to drive at around 4000-5500 rpm the whole time because it has less load on the engine and it has less stress).
overall,i like the torque and the instant power without having to downshift...i will just probably install an engine oil cooler to compensate the high RPM, if i was to calculate the time spent,it was probably a 45min drive on the freeway at 4000-5500rpm(115kph-150kph)...i dont know how true what my tuner said but he said "high rpm=less load=less stress"
