Running Crap

Postby NotoriousMib » Sun Nov 03, 2013 8:42 pm

Hey all, I'm new to the site but looking for help.

Long story short on way home tonight thought i would put the Snow button on to see what it was like on slippery roads, after driving it for a few miles decided to switch it off again but the car didn't return to normal feels like there is no power what so ever and missing. Was this to do with the snow mode being on or something else. Car has run spot on until i pressed that button tonight.

Anyone any ideas?

Cheers.

Try leaving the positive battery lead off for half hour then put it back on and take for a drive

Shouldn't have anything to do with the snow button as all that does is dull throttle response.

Is that just to reset the ECU? tried resetting it just now but made no odds. Kinda worried to take it for a run in case i do more damage. Saying that though no warning lights have came on the dash and oil pressures etc seem fine.

Might be a case of checking plugs tomorrow them maybe just bad luck sowts happened when button was on .

Give the MAF & throttle body a clean if you haven't already
