power steering pump replacement

Postby Irish_Al » Wed Jun 19, 2013 3:32 pm

Ok as already mentioned in my welcome thread I need to replace the power steering pump in the car.
Previous owner took the belt off and when I checked I am missing 2 pulleys that I am aware of.
Power steering pump pulley and the tensioner pulley.

My question for the experts is has anybody got a link to the blueprint of a yamaha beams engine so I can check if there is anything else missing.

Thanks in advance
Alan

Ive never seen a blueprint as such. Your best bet will be a manual, but let me know when you find one  Id send you a picture of my setup but I dont have an air con compressor, so it wont be as applicable

No aircon pulley or tensioner in the picture below.

But in theory the tensioner and the powersteering pulley is all that can be missing.

Throw a picture up on here mate.

Log on to http://www.toyodiy.com sign up and select your vehicle...very easy...There are basic schematics and diagrams for every part on your vehicle

I also downloaded a 3sge engine manual...just search for it with Google...

The number 1054 comes to mind :? But I will have to double check tomorrow. I got a piece of string and put it around both pulleys and then measured its length.
