Correct power steering fluid

Postby stabby » Mon Feb 25, 2013 10:29 pm

Just wanted to make sure i had the correct power steering fluid to replace the one i have currently in the car.
i read that the tezza is suppose to have dexron III type of fuid so that is what i ordered.
from here: http://www.amazon.com/Valvoline-VV324-MAXLIFE-DEXRONIII-Bottles/dp/B000CQ262C/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1361830512&sr=8-3&keywords=dexron+III

So was a little confused because nowhere on it it stated dexron III and also the Automatic Transmission Part has me a little hesitant too..
Did open the bottle and the fluid in it is red.

So what say you? Can I use it? And in the future I can change this to Redline's power steering fluid or anybody else have a recommendation maybe?

Thanks in advance.

The only reason you'd want a higher spec is if you're going to be spending a lot of time on the track, in that case you could use a synthetic DexIII or specialist P/S fluid from the likes of Redline, Amsoil & Motul.
