Only horror stories I've heard have come from poor tuning or cheap parts.

Use the search function to find all the basics as it's been covered a fair few times now, then ask more specific wuestions if you need answers.

The stock beams is good to fight with Type-R´s, GTI´s, Focus ST´s and other hot hatches. I rahter invest that money to:
- Suspension upgrade
- Good stiff and light anti sway bars
- Ultralight wheels
- Lighten the whole car (fibre bonnet, trunk lid, front wings; Aluminum radiator, AC delete, lighter manual seats, sound deadening removal etc)
- Good exhaust system

Then you car will take corners perfectly and will accelerate 0-100 less than 7 seconds.
I would change my IS300 2JZ to good RS200 any time. IS300 is heavy beast compared to RS200Z. Although it is easy to add turbo to 2JZ and make this an quick car on straights.
Problem is that there is basically no LHD RS200 available....

there are some is200 converted to RS200. Only IS200 body and in some cases interior remains.
Seen couple of them for sale during 2011

I have a turbod RS200Z and also have a few suspension upgrades, lightweight wheels as well as a Tom's ECU and an HKS FCON V Pro EMS the car moves and drifts like a dream!!! If i had the money i would drop a 2JZ in there with a T88 turbo :)

I have a lil issu though i notice that it burns a lil too rich and i susequently installed an air fuel ratio guage to better monitor the mix however i need advice on what a good ratio would be any ideas?

As close to 14.7:1 as possible at idle, on boost 11.5-12 to be safe, obviously the closer to 14 you can get the better but could run in to detonation issues.
