How does Sat Dec 13th sit with people? Not too close to Christmas but still gives people plenty of time to make plans?
That is of course there isn't some big event on that all the accommodation would be booked out..

Now look what ye made him do, gone and thrown all his toys out of the cot

Ah no seriously though, i've only ever been in Carlow once at night and it wasnt a good experience (couldnt wait to get out of the place the following day) so like Joe it wouldnt have been my choice, i was all set for Killarney but sure the votes have been cast and Carlow its going to be. No point in falling out over it.

Well everyone has different experiences and preferences about where they'd like to go so that's why there was a vote. The point in having a vote is that we were never going to agree about where to go without it. There's no way everyone was going to be happy no matter where we voted.

It was discussed on "driver.ie"

Well, nobody saw fit to bribe myself or the admins, so we'll have to go with old-fashioned democracy and go with Carlow. Tell you what - we'll make it Killarney next year, how's that?

Any suggestions for something to do during the day? Anyone there have contacts for accommodation? How many people are willing to go? Is the 13th ok with everyone (that's going)?

Feck, the Seven Oaks, Talbot and Dolmen are all booked out for the 13th. Lack of accomodation would be a problem..
