My new addiction!

Postby oJayTo » Tue Aug 23, 2011 11:08 pm

Well picked up my new tezza 2 weeks ago :D was kind of a last minute decision to go with an altezza! I was looking to change to an rx7 but mpg put me right off  then I was looking towards gts-t skyline's, evo's and wrx's but insurance wasn't happening.

So I had a think about it and got an online quote for a tezza and it turned up cheaper than my renewal for the trueno lol......so that was that!

Anyway's long story short it's a decision I don't regret and im loving the car and looking for any excuse to drive it.

Mods that came with her:

Eibach springs and shocks
Panasonic dvd headunit(for sale when I can post ad 8))
Blitz nur spec cat back(As above)

What ive done since.

Full service
Fixed annoying clutch squeak for a few days now its back
Trd high response muffler
6000k hid kit(low beam)
Subwoofer and amp
Pioneer headunit

Things to come:

Want to keep her close to standard so

Alloys
Alarm
Full Exhaust from mani back
Coilovers
Some sort of piggyback management and a tune.....have to do my research 1st.

Pics are here....there only the ones from the ad on donedeal but ill be taking some proper one's this weekend after I give her a good wash and wax.

Thanks for looking :D

nice looking tezz lad,
unfortunately squeaky clutch syndrome is very common in altezza's  ,,,,, if the weather is relatively dry then mine nearly always gives a slight squeak.... wouldnt worry bout it thou!
twaz in my old clutch and put in a brand new genuine toyota clutch nd she still squeaks....

I cant wait for an rx7 did you have the 2+2 model with the little buckets for seats in the back
Looks like you wouldn't fit a child in there not to mind an adult.

Ya someday's mine is completely quiet then other days it's crazy.

Is there any known fix to it? There seems to be a few ideas from the threads I was reading.

Probably will have to learn to live with it :(

RWD makes up for it tho 8)
