the speedo cluster is from there later tezza's I think 2001 onwards maybe and I don't know the answer for the e-shift question I've been out and had a close look at mine and there isn't a layout like the normal auto's where it shows what gear your in but it may come up in a digital layout like the speed maybe, your just have to keep your eyes open for a later spec tezza's and have a look through the window

works been a bit quite this week so I've taken the chance to make a oil catch can for the car as I had noticed a bit oil starting to seep on to the filter I also took the filter off and gave it a good clean as well

so heres a load of pics of how I've made it

1st part the body
Image
Image
Image
Image

The ends 1 end with 3 holes for feed in and out and a breather
Image

The start of the brackets
Image
Image

where to postion it
Image
Image

bend the brackets
Image

cut them to length and tack weld in place for test fit
Image
Image

fitted fine so welded up the blackets I also braced the top of the brakets to stop the can twisting or vibrating which could crack or brake the welds, also it's a bit arty farty
Image

welded the bottom on and put in a drain plug
Image

I cut down the length of the body and tacked the top on so I could mark postion of tubes
Image

I found some off cuts of tube we had and machined up some hose ends
Image

I re-fitted the can in place and marked what needed to be done with the feeds in and out and how to cut them, sorry no poics didn't have my phone in my pocket

With the tubes marked they got cut and welded in place, Don't worry I drilled the 2 small holes out in the top to match the inside of the tube I had used ( 16mm od tube )
Image

I drill 2 holes in the side and welded in to sockets with a 1/8th bsp thread so I could fit in 2 fitting and make a level gauge on it
Image

Once fully welded up and a bit of a clean up it looks like this
Image

I'll be fitting it at the weekend need to get a bit of hose and some clips

I'm using some tapped holes all ready in the bay to mount mine off, I did look at buying 1 but then I thought I could make 1 to suit the space I had. if I had the standard airbox fitted I can't put it where I'm going to this 1
