1JZ Altezza Conversion

Postby Squire » Wed May 26, 2010 12:56 am

Ah sure i wont be shy and go first!!

Basically for some new people who don't know about it, i'm in the middle of dropping into my Tez a 2.5 Twin turbo engine from a Soarer!! 8) Been gone since late Dec but through no fault of my own has it taken this long, learned the hard way about leaving things in other peoples hands!
Current state of the car is it just needs an Alloy Rad which is due to be delivered in the morning from Nick in Couture and the Oil return for the sump i got off Christy Carpenter! All going well it could be done for June bank holiday weekend! :D :D
Not much of an update from a few months back but more of a shout out to anyone who thought i ditched the whole thing!!

Any questions just ask!

Whats the craic with the wiring and ECU? Do you use the wiring and ECU from the soarer or does it need to be completely rewired and get a standalone ECU?

Still out in Roco as far as I know, think I saw it there at the weekend. Looked like it was having finishing touches done, up on a ramp, big front mount was visible so presume its nearly there. I know he was waiting on a sump recently and was asking about who to map it so would say its fairly close at this stage!
