Altezza turbo project (Ireland)

Hey so I thought I would start a thread for my project
So I bought my Altezza in December it's a 3sge beams Altezza with 140 k on it . It was completely standard other than trd 1.5 way LSD and lowering springs

So first off I started cleaning it up a bit sorting out niggley bits like
Diff mounts
Tie rod arms
Anti roll bar bushings
Hub bushing
Wheels painted
Full service
New trd fog lights (aftermarket trd spots)
And using only genuine parts where possible

Then:
Washed and polished
Took all interior out and cleaned all seats with an upholstery vacuum
And polished interior :D

So now it's on to modifications

I have purchased so far :
-Greddy TD04 19T turbo kit (on route from japan)
Gone run e-manage for the time been until I get money for a apexi power fc
-Greddy intercooler kit ( on route from japan)
-deatchswerk dw300 320lph fuel pump
-540cc caldina injectors
-jun light weight flywheel (ordering next week)
-Toyota flywheel bolts
- exedy stage two clutch (ordering next week)
-D1 spec oil catch can

And once I get all them I will be ordering :

Aem wide band gauge
Aem boost gauge
Aem oil temp gauge
And try and get my hands on a trd dash pod ( pretty impossible so far :/ )

Then it's time to install everything or should I say trying to find time to install everything

After power is taken care of I'll be getting onto suspension and brakes
So probably
- bc racing coil overs
- uprated anti roll bars
-Chassis braces
-Cusco 3 point strut
-Boot strut brace
-bigger disk and decent set of pads as the Altezza brakes are pretty good already
Haven't thought that far yet hahaha

That's all for the moment further down the line I will be getting custom forged pistons and rods and going low comp and uping the boost
For more powerrrrr :P

Any advice or info would be greatly appreciated Every little helps
Thanks for reading ill post pictures soon
And will keep updated as soon as I get any further

At long last a little update

All parts have been delivered and was time to start putting everything together :)

So took a few photos before work commenced
Image
Image

Fuel pump and injectors from Nick :)top man
Image

Turbo goodness
Image
Image
Exedy hyper series clutch and flywheel
Image

Now that all the parts where here well most of them I started to tip away at putting everything together

So I started with the intercooler

Before
Image

Half way point
Image

Finished product the amount of cutting that need to be done was a pain in the ass haha but turned out well in the end
Image

Then it was onto fitting the power plant :)

New mani fitted

Image
Turbo in position
Image

All plumed up :)

Image
Now to install the ecu which I got from tosh .. But unfortunately it was a faulty unit so couldn't be used so I wired in the emanage that I had previously bought just to get me up and running for the time been and just was impatient haha
Image

It worked a treat pain to wire in though
But that's done away with now and the power fc is back from been fixed and is working a treat but cost a bomb to be fixed :(
Image

So now onto the clutch
Shinny, pitty you won't see it haha
Image

Rsm fitted
Image

Bought a Aem fail safe for the afr and boost all in one
Really nice a neat gauge
Image

Test fitted the apexi air box I bought
The water relocation bottle will have to be relocated again to fit get it to fit nice a neat

Image

So now all I have to do is fit new head gasket
New timing belt
Got the APEXI air box
Fit new injectors
And get her remapped

Mapped it safely myself for the time been and have to say the improvement is huge wow such low down power gains

Next is :
forged internals and possibly 2,2 stroker have not decided yet
Suspension
Respray
New wheels
And get the interior done up :)

That's it for now will keep you updated and post pics of dyno runs :D
Peace out :D

My goal is 400 + Bhp ... But on stock internals I'll settle for 280/290 Bhp ... Until I get internals done

Kinda flicked through the pics on your photobucket. Looks good. But would be better if pics showed up in the actual thread. Either paste the IMG links for the pics, or add the links as 'images' on here

I'll sort it out when I get home from work :) .. And yeah it's an apexi airbox pretty decent but have to modify a bit as it's made to suit apexi air filter which sits further in and also the water bottle that was relocated has to be relocated in order for it to fit nice and neat :D
