the Re-up.Updated pics.

Postby tezzax » Sat Dec 28, 2013 12:56 am

Hello everyone. Been a while since I last updated my car's pics here : viewtopic.php?f=45&t=11743

am still driving my Altezza and loving her same as the day i received it (maybe more!)

After a serious crash and what i mean by serious, is a bent frame and bent chassis. I had lost control in corner racing against my brother in his Caldina GTT, and went all out on a concrete roadside block.

Had to repair and rebuild the whole car with my bro and 2 other friends. So here it is now better than before, i have relocated the LED DRL to another place, in a more fashionable and stock look, had to cut the bumper properly, built a support from inside the bumper, so that the LED lamps are replaceable just like the fog lamps then clay and sanding and voila.

More stable as i have upgraded the suspension. I also added a strut bar, and faster too, I've redone the exhaust with an APEXi muffler at the back (removed my TRD, though i think ill put it back on, this one is noisy) and decatted the 5AT downpipe, new coils, new spark plugs.

Installed a stereo, and a few changes in the interior lighting also, as i couldnt find any white LED bulbs for the dome lights next to rear-view mirror i had to make my own, (see pics)

Carefully rebuilt the car so as not to have any rattle or squeaks and interior noises, and it indeed is a success.

My next upgrades are TRD spoiler, thermal wrap for my downpipe, in February belt kit change, and many other, front, rear JBL speakers, TRD stickers.

Also changed the fog lights from 8000k xenons to 3400k xenons. In short, she is better than before.

@banan1984 : thanks alot banan! I also have an eye on your Altezza, following it in your posts, its from where i learnt how to replace the speakers by destroying the stock one to get the mounts. One of the cleanest and best Altezza out there, keep up the good work!
