Thanks mate. Well I've sourced a genuine legana bumper :D . Just need to find a spoiler now. Yeah think a bronze colour for the wheels not so sure i'd like gunmetal grey tho.

Well it's been a while since I updated this thread so thought i'd start by up loading a few photos

Car looks a lot different now then it did when I got it
First off I've fitted some HSD coilovers

Then I fitted some new Rota Torque Drifts. They are 17x9" et35
Also fitted a Plastic legana bumper and ducktail spoiler
I might respray the ducktail spoiler black tho. Still a little undecided on it :?

I'm going to forge the engine and turbo it so i've been gathering up bits and pieces over the past few month
Getting pistons+rods and everything to rebuild the engine off Nick the site trader
Got this off Soiled on this site
Great fella to deal with and has been very helpful

Also got my hands on a garrett gt2871r turbo

Tosh21 on here made up a full exhaust system for me. He's very handy with a welder :D
If any one on here needs any fabricating done Tosh is a top man at his work, can't recommend him enought

Do you think will it be loud

Very tasty welding :D

Also picked up a Tom's flywheel

I'm getting there slowly but still lots to do.
Think I'm going to run it on haltech ecu as that's what the tuner recommended.
And I will probably go with a bigger turbo like a gt3071r tho as the gt2871r won't have enought puff to hit the figures I want.
I'll be aiming for over 400bhp eventually.

Things I still have to get are

Injectors - will maybe go 850cc-1000cc need to see what's out there

Bigger fuel pump - aeromotive 340 LPH

A fuel pressure regulator

Intercooler - Thinking might get this one. Nice size for under the bumper http://www.mishimoto.co.uk/mishimoto-un ... -line.html

Clutch - Anyone any advice for this? Dont think an exedy stage 2 would last to long. Was thinking on a ACT clutch. Does any one know if the mr2 turbo or celica gt4 clutch will fit?

Has any one ported+polished the head on a beams?
Is the any point/gains or are they already good the way they are?

The head is already awesome as it is, I've cleaned up a couple casting testicles that's all. End of the day it'd come down to your cam choice. Looking promising where you're heading! Will be keen to see results.

Don't think either of those clutches would fit. For the serious power you're looking at get a good clutch or you'll just end up replacing it a couple months down the track. I run a twin plate os giken clutch which has lasted 4 years now and still has plenty of meat on it.

Thanks pal
No, I never had to roll the arches to get them to fit.
Very happy how well they fitted. Just running a slight camber is all.

So no point trying to port and polish the head then Alan?
Would I gain much running cams?
Yeah I've priced a exedy hyper single for the car, got some shock, it would need to last a few years for the price lol
My parts should arrive this week from Nick so I'll get them sent over to the engine builder over the next few weeks

I don't know how much of a difference cams madeas iI did them at the same time as my pistons/rods/turbo. I would say atleast heavier valve springs with more boost.

Let your engine builder decide if the head needs any work when he pulls it apart, I made my cam choice to keep vvti so was limited in my options.

Finally a build threat!! Agreed, the ports are nearly as good standard as our ported astons! I can't remember why exactly but I think you should run new cams at that power and boost. I think it's to help cool the chamber
