My daily ride with a 1JZ

Took me around 8 months to fully built up this daily ride of mine. But it took me about a year to study (R&D) what I want. Here's my specification:

- 1JZ-GTE vvti from JZX100- Lighten & balanced pullies (Crank, water, steering, alternator & tensional) Total 1.7kg
- GXE-10 crossmember
- 2JZ Engine brackets

268whp stock ECU, stock boost 0.7bar, stock Turbo. No plans for upgrades due to daily drive car.

Do not buy any LEDs from ebay. Waste of time & money.
What I did was solder more LED connecting to the main ones all around the rings.
Sorry I don't have any pictures the modification guide through (forgotten about it while doing it).

Just go it man, it really put on a smile every time you drive at night. Frens just can't believe that panel & cluster are from a 13 years old car.

What size bulbs are they? Normal sized capless 501 bulbs?

The bulbs are from the T5, not the 501 bulbs. Please correct me if i'm wrong.
Remove the bulbs from the T5 socket, solder the LEDs connecting the + & - from T5 socket. Connect them all around the rings. That's about it.

It would be easier if I have the pictures, but unfortunately I totally forgotten to snap some pic while I was doing it.
