JZZ30 wrote:Did you notice an improvement with the new poly diff- mounts over the old ones? Thinking about getting some as well when I get my new LSD but dont know if they are worth what they are asking for them.

Please keep the updates coming.. would be great if you could post a in car video of a race at some point...

The reinforced diff mount definitely helps in terms of easier shifting during mid-corner, and also sharpens throttle responses.

Very impressive.
Can you please share your camber and toe-in settings?
Are you still on Alpha-N map? What AFR the car is running on WOT?

Front camber : -3.5
Rear camber : -0.5

I don't quite remember front toe, but rear is near zero.
The map data is near perfect. The engine runs smoothly even at extended period of time.
AFR is around 12.0:1 at WOT since it is track car.

Ah, -3.5 on the front. That's why it doesn't understeer that much.
Thanks!

The camber doesn't effect much.
Widened the front track 20mm total + stiffened rear sub-frame & diff mounts helped reducing understeer much.

Winter project starts!!!
To reach my target of best lap at 1:29, I am going shave off more weight + add power.

1. Weight diet to reach 2,400lb
2. TODA exhaust manifold
3. TRD transmission(fixing 1st + 3rd gear gaps)

First step first, I am removing all unnecessary wiring off the car.
Removing below wiring.
-. Dual VVT-i OCV
-. A/C
-. Electric throttle
-. Coil pack check
-. Side blinkers
-. Fog lights
-. Air bag
-. Stereo/Antenna
-. Theft deterrent
-. Int/Exp ambient temperature sensors
-. Light sensor
-. Headlight angle adjuster
-. Power door
-. Power window
-. Power seat
-. Rear heated window
-. 2nd horn
-. Sun-roof
-. Side mirror
-. All interior lights
-. 2nd fan
-. Washer fluid motor
-. 12V aux

Wow, you got some work to do! :P

I keep reeding about the TRD gear swap, but I can never find why they really ever came up with that.
Could you find a little time to explain why it is better to swap 1st and 3rd gears? Is it only the shifting pattern?
If so is it that much faster to shift that way?

Keep up the nice job.

The gearing between 2nd and 3rd is too wide, so shorter 3rd gear helps in terms of acceleration.

Got it
So do they actually swap the gearing rods in the case?
I imagine that launching needs more revving after the swap?
