what a kind of standalone dash-speedo is that??
thanks.

The friend's best lap time is much faster because his car is highly modified, and also running semi-slicks.
100% stock S2000(AP2) runs about 1:33 range if the driver is "professional".

The GPS dash data logger is BROS Laptor R1.

Current TODA set up does have somewhat short power-band(6,800-7,950rpm), because I went with slightly aggressive camshaft compared to my displacement and compression ratio.
I am planning to adjust the cam pulley and increase rev-limiter to enhance the power-band for next season.
(Also need longer 2nd gear....)

My car weights about 1,220kg/2,690lb with A/C, but planning to shave off some weight in this winter.

If you upgraded valve springs may be you can try to rev higher.
Famous TRD Altezza produced 270ps/8600RPM.

Yes, but at same time 3S-GE's valves are titanium which needs much attention with stiffer valve springs.

thanks for correct information. is the toda camshafts kit-(290/280) better for non high rev modified engine?(stock rods,valves..)

i drive my car(ae86) with short diameter tyres( 13" 530-540mm. diameter and final drive 4.1:1) to made second gear useless. i use on track 3-4-5.(little bad point for short powerband is that 5 gear i can not fast shift it.like 2/3/4) .
different final drive - http://www.gearboxconversion.com/lexus%20sxe10.html

i think gt86 maybe use some az6 with modified shifting.(longer 1st, same second, and shorter 3-gear.) I've never seen gt86 gearbox

hello, Last time I bought a IS200 and spoiler to this car, but it is a bit too low and I would like to make this spoiler similar to yours.
How long brackets for this spoiler (how long are mounting to the trunk - high) ?
This is 275 mm brackets ?

It has been while since the last updates.

I have made major modifications for 2014 season.
One of them is widebody.

Originally the kit was from the KIXX IS200, but I have modified to fit only on fronts(front bumper/fenders).
It is simply because I was already running 255s on front, and don't want to cut rear fenders to match the front.
The result came out pretty good.
Enjoy!! There are more cool updates coming soon!!

As my very earlier post indicates, we could NOT run the power steering due to different oil pressure between IS200 steering gear box and 3S-GE power steering pump.
Because JDM Altezza had quicker steering ratio, I believe the steering gear box pressure was designed differently.

I was also informed that running 2JZ power steering pump would work.
But the problem is there are too many oil line going thru the exhaust side if I keeping the hydraulic steering system.
LHD cars have fuel, brake oil, power steering, AC line on the driver side which is also exhaust side for the 3S-GE(RHD only engine).

So instead of installing 2JZ power steering pump, I decide to use EPS(Electrical Power Steering)
This way I can also get rid of worrying infamous 3S-GE power steering pump failures, and drive-train power loss.

I choose to go with Hyundai's MDPS system which is easily can be purchased locally in pretty low price.
Not only we had to modify the steering rack system, but we also need to create the circuit system to cheat C-CAN communication.
MDPS' control unit checks the C-CAN communication for the proper assist.
Without the communication, there are no assist.

Since I can not run stock key-box anymore, I have installed main cut-off switch.
For engine start button, I have used one form Honda S2000.

The EPS works ONLY at track.
I have made the 2-stage kill switch separately for the safety.
It was actually quite nice to turn off the power steering on the wet track. :)
Also updated BROS Laptor R1 to R2.

that looks quite nice! I was thinking about this the other day, but seeing I don't have the resources or knowledge to do this I left it for what is was... just a thought...
