Yo dudes..

Iv got this lot, it's most the parts you'd need to make a 3sgte into a RWD format, with a decent 6spd manual box.

This is a very cost effective way of getting a near 'bolt in' package to turbo your Altezza/IS200 or whatever..
In my opinion, this is a better option than turbo'ing an Altezza beams engine. Yes the beams is awesome, but they wernt designed to be turbo, they don't like it and will only make -300hp before fizzle-popping.. The 3sgte will take ~400hp before it'll need internal work.

Today I'd been thinking I want to keep it and build it myself as I know it'll be awesome. Could put it in my daily Altezza Sportcross..lol. However, iv had my heart set on a 3uz for my daily and I know I'd just go silly with the 3s if I started building it..

Basically, you'd need to buy an MR2 turbo, these go all day long for £500-£600.. Take the engine, loom, ecu, etc..
Strip engine down to a tall block..

Buy this package from me and bolt the parts on to the 3sgte engine.. Parts should be fairly simple to fit up, it's been done plenty of times before.. Loom will probilly need alterations to fit the 3sgte in the new RWD format.
If I was to build this, I'd buy a Haltech platinum sprint 500 ecu that comes with new loom that you can make to fit the engine, with new sensors, boost controller, etc.. These are a little over a grand, but then it's fully standalone and mappable to do anything..

Buy a turbo and manifold,(or maybe possibly to lash something up with the original mani?)
Make downpipe etc..

Be an awesome drop in package for lots of conversions..


What you are buying..
Altezza Aux Parts: Starter Motor, Alternator, PAS Pump, With Brackets etc... Water Jacket Parts, Crank Pulley, Engine Mounts, and a load of other parts..
Altezza Sump Upper & Lower, Oil Pickup, etc...
Altezza Duel Plenum Inlet Manifold & TB (Don't think this fits the 3sgte head, but can be adapted easily with some precision angle grinding and Tig welding..I can do this at your cost..)

Just thought I'd mention that Gen 2 & 3 3SGTEs will only take 300hp on stock internals.

I dont know a huge ammount about 3sgte's, but i think that's debatable..

Most people with 3sgte that take power up don't do things properly.. ie no proper management.. Too many people think piggybacks/emanage/powerFC are decent, they aren't..
With a decent ecu and supporting mods, there's no reason why gen3's won't take best part of 400hp, safely take ~350.

This lot is still forsale, but I am increasingly thinking about building this setup for my own Altezza Gita daily driver instead of the 3uz iv been planning...
I'm building a new vvti engine for my racecar Altezza so ill need an new ecu for that, so I could potentially use my Haltech PS500 to run the 3s...

Hmmm, this has got me thinking now...
