Amp Bypass Lead Needed !!!

Postby Shockraiser » Wed Mar 02, 2011 1:35 am

Hey Guys,

I've recently bought me a Pioneer AVHP4300 DVD Head Unit & got a Fascia from Nick...Im pretty sure all I need now is an Amp bypass lead.

Is there anyone on Site that might have one for sale...with fitting instructions
I know I can get one on ebay but if I could get one fast it would be Ideal....mad to get the new head unit in

Here a walk through on the fitting that i did a while back mate, not sure if its the same on the Altezza though?

Drop the glovebox down by squeezing the side inwards and let it drop down, At the rear you will see 2 pins push these out and remove the glovebox to make access to the amp a bit easier,

And in the picture where you pull the dash out a bit, Before you pull at it just pull the door rubber away a little as it helps the dash move enough to pull forward,

Then follow the pic's..

The amp can be removed completely if you want to, i just put it back in so i knew where it was if i ever wanted to put the old headunit back in?

If you get stuck let me know and i'll see if i can help :D

Not sure if you have Halfords over your way mate? But they do them now too :D they were a lot cheaper than ebay as well  Just need the autoleads part number (probably find it on ebay?} if they haven't got in stock and they will order it for you? :)

Well I have an update :D

I finally got an AMP Bypass lead Sent over from London for €36 from eBay, a big difference from €55 :D

I didnt get to fitting my head unit until yesterday & the whole job must have taken me about 4 hours  but it was well worth it....I took out my External Amp altogether to give more Space and ran the wires along the bottom of the stock wiring to the head unit opening and Wired the Bypass lead to the Head unit Loom.

I am well chuffed with the Final product and well proud of my Tidy Wiring Job

Will upload pics of my Pioneer AVH-P4300DVD Finished product on a Different Thread,

Thanks for the help guys :D :D
