Theres a small pipe u can disconnect under the airbox for the emissions test . mine was over at the garage and when my mechanic just showed me the pipe to take out " just for the test" ...its passed no problem.

i didnt relise they were failing cars on noise lever till weds in the test centre, i seen it on the wall chart max 99dbh aloud, i was sure he was gonna fail it cause my car has a zegin cat back exhaust and its fairly loud to say the least  even people in the waitin room were commenting on how load it was and how much he was reving the car!! :x he held it at 3000rpm for a solid 4minutes i was sure he was gonna fail it, but it passed no problem :D :D i was that suprised i asked him and he said its on the testers discretion to check it for noise level i think i got very lucky, sorry to hear you geting trouble noting worse than when they fail the car on stupid things
