water leak

water leak

my car has a bad water leak near the thermostat but its not the thermostat. i cant c were it is coming from beacuse of the turbo and other things in the way. could it be the water pump

thermostat gasket maybe? you'll have to get in there and see exactly where it's leaking to know for sure

i was looking today and its coming from behind the cam pully on the exhaust manifold side

yes it is but its above the water pump behind the cam pully

Could be a frost plug happened in mine just had a pin hold in it I tought it was water pump too . If it is there very easy change but have to take load of stuff off to get at it that take's longer than changein it .
There should be two penalty points for cars that dont go sideways............
