need help asap !!!

Postby blacktezzacork » Fri May 14, 2010 12:15 am

Story guys! just got a n/a tezza very nice and clean car but something just isn't right. She's failed the nct on emitions on both high and low revs now it should be going on the diagnostics monday or tuesday so i'll find out if the cat is ok. I also have a feeling i'm not getting everything the BEAMS has to offer. i was only just able to keep up with a standard SIR civic h/b the other day and i was fully convinced i'd be eating them for brekfast or at least passing them when there in v-tec. the most that civic was is 165bhp.... Where have all my horsies gone????

v-tec's are just way better engines than the beams engine. the beams engine aint got no punch like a vtec

dude theres no such thing as a 220bhp N/A altezza, anything over 200bhp is considered good. There can be over 30+bhp in the difference between 2 altezzas. so if your altezza is only hitting 170-180bhp get used to been s**t on

IMO all altezzas should have lightened flywheels to help their acceleration.

If you exit a roundabout beside a SIR at say 50km you should be able to smoke him relatively easy :D

How heavy is a tezza alot more that a civic, when you look at a sir/vti civic most are around 160-170Bhp, Thats 10-15Bhp less than a tezz. So a healthy civic should give a the tezz a good run for its money. I had a levin before the tezz, and in my opinion the levin would be well ahead of the tezz up until 100-120KPH after that its anyones guess :? Tezzas are quick for a 4door family car 8) There not a sports cars like a DC5/DC2 or even a civic sir/type r

Stick up an intro as well when you get a chance

The 245BHP one  viewtopic.php?f=16&t=6383

You'l need an RSM or a HKS sld, Rsm will cost around €160-180 its 4 wires to the ecu easy enough
wire up and set up, Buy a new one off e-bay you get a info in the box on how to fit it . .

Not certain but i think Satnav came standard with the Tez but its no use over here so most owners just get rid of it!!
