Welcome Kelly, other than what Dan said check your fuel filter as well. I'm more thinking it's the MAF sensor though.

Check air filter aswell, its getting starved of something id say.

Probably the MAF sensor like dan said, give that a clean first and see if that helps, a few pics to help here:

Is it idling smoothly or does it sound like its running rough? like an old car?

wasn't being smart, just no point trying to guess whats wrong and having you changing this and checking that when a good mechanic does this for a living and may save you money in the long run ...

Time is of the essence with engine problems like that. If it's something serious and you don't get it seen to quickly (e.g. loosing oil pressure) you are heading for big trouble real fast. If you are lucky it will turn out to be something harmless, but if you are having problems like that, the less you drive it the better until you get it looked at.
If you don't know a mechanic personally, you could always try a Toyota garage?

Hi Kelly, I think it sound like a blocked exhaust, its it like that all the time cold/hot when u but the boot down, u have no power?

1.When the car is ticking over is there much fumes out off the exhaust, more noticable when cold

2.When the car is ticking over and u put ur shoe up to the back of the exhaust (not for long u will know in a few mins) does the car choke up like its going to cut out

3.Have u had a n.c.t. lately, was ur emmissions high?

4.Put a fuel additive in it, u might have got dirty petrol at some stage

blocked exhaust? thats a new one, i think its more than likely to be one of the other probs mentioned. get it to a mechanic asap, try not to drive it much until you get it sorted, did u buy the car from a garage? if its still under warranty, back to them with it so
