Heated rear view mirrors?

I'll check mine this evening. Now that you mention it I never remember my mirrors getting fogged up??

They should fell hot aswell not roasting but luke warm..

Checked my mirrors tonite and they were cold. Turned on the rear demister and they were still cold.Left the rear demister on for ages (it turned off by itself after a while) and the mirrors still didnt heat, not even slightly. Mines a 99.

Ya dont think it a feature in them :cry: its a pain when you get fog......Oh I might have to get a 01 turbo to have heated rear view mirrors :lol: :lol: :lol: I wish.........

does that mean it was some sort of option then since mine is a 98 and has them heated all the time?

I just checked the fuse panel at the passenger footwell and on the back of the cover it shows one of the fuses as "MIR HTR" which obviously means mirror heater. There is a fuse in place and its not blown so I dont know why they dont heat. I noticed there is also a fuse in a slot in the drivers footwell for heated seats which mine doesnt have. Would they normally install fuses if they are not being used.
