O2 Sensor problem, P0135

Postby WishNZ » Mon Mar 02, 2015 6:11 pm

Hi

Have a check engine light come up on my 2002 Altezza Gita, when scanned it says P0135 which is the oxygen sensor heater circuit correct?

I'm just wondering which sensor I need to replace if anyone could help?

I've also noticed that often when cruising above 80Km the light seems to turn off

yup thats o2 sensor. does it say which sensor? it should say sensor 1 or 2, I think sensor one is the one closest to the front of the engine and 2 is towards the back. Or sensor 1 will be before the cat and sensor 2 is after the cat

Yeah Bank 1, Sensor 1. Was pretty sure it was the one by the engine but I wasn't 100%

Anyone know a place to get a replacement from?

You can get a universal 4 wire densk or Bosch and wire it in. But I havent had much luck with them I've got a denso and after 5 mins it threw up o2 heater malfunction. There only 30 ish pound though so you can try one. Failing that I think you will have to go straight to Toyota or Nick.
