My approach has always been...Buy wheels and make them fit. Run a bit of tyre stretch to get a little bit of clearance. Maybe 225/35 or 215/40 on a 9.5j should do the trick
Just as a comparison: 8.75j et20 rear, 8.5j et15 front with 215/35/18 tyres all round with zero rubbing and only a mild arch roll
et12 might be a bit of a push if youre not willing to go and pull the arches, so et30 would fit in without too much trouble.
