I have a elm327 with programs scanmaster and digimoto and neither of them worked. This 1 works spot on and for £28 worth it all day long! My eml wasn't on but plugged it in and there was a fault. It also connects to airbag and chassis not just engine faults. As far a I know it only works on windows xp tho.

I believe you can use Torque and a Bluetooth OBD2 scanner like normal cars but you need to add the following code in the 'advanced' section of the car's profile:

ATIB 96 \n ATIIA 13 \n ATSH8213F0 \n ATSP4 \n 0100

This code works with a lot of Japanese ECUs, namely late model MR2 Turbos (the scene I come from). I'm going to pick up my Altezza soon, I'll be trying this code before I buy :)

Does work. Picked up the car today. Not sure if it can't read the ECU error codes, or if there just were none (unlikely I reckon).

It at the very least does the basic Torque stuff - revs, temps, pressures, but it didn't immediately work with the O2 sensor tests you can do on other cars but I haven't had a chance to tinker and use a couple of of the Bluetooth OBD2 devices I have.
