ImageGreetings! Welcome to Tezzaworld website, unfortunately you are a few years late to the show as nearly everyone has been and gone, there is still lots of useful archived material to read through, not many active users unfortunately, but that’s the way it goes, hopefully you are not too disappointed...

I think there was one other lad who showed some interest as well. What material is it by the way? Do you think anything will need to be done with regards to heat treatment? I think you should post a picture up once its done

was it aluminium you wanted it done from?? nothing at all that can be done to harden alluminium. if you want it could be made from some grade of tough steel ....alot heavier and more expensive!! :)

Yes, it was aluminium. My thought is that aluminium will do the job and if it breaks, it breaks  The guys from Russia get them made from duralumin.

Im assuming you are making a set for your car as well?

Its suitable for street driving as the ackermann angle is pretty much near stock. It is a copy of the c-one steering knuckles so you should get about 2.5 turns lock to lock. It will make the steering a bit more responsive (read - twitchy, as little inputs to the steering will equate to more than stock, due to reduced pivot distance) but you just learn to drive with it, and you get used to it pretty quickly. It will also make your parallel parking just a bit easier

These are also useful if your car is dropped a fair bit and your suspension arms are pointing upwards. These knuckles could eliminate bump steer and make the car handle a little bit nicer due to the extra thickness.

Put the price up for steel on here. Would be interesting to see what it is as a more durable version.

Also, forgot to add that you might need to get some high tensile bolts to attach these. But that isnt a problem at all. Im sure whoever gets these first, will put up the lengths up on here.
