Postby reepers13 » Sat Mar 26, 2011 6:08 pm

i have some jdm plates to fit however when i removed the plastic plate recess on the front it leaves two square holes either side from where the clip fits into

how have folks got around this problem when fitting smaller plates??

I had a similer problem iin the past with my old mazda 323f not as bad it was only small holes i easily filled it up and painted it, the IS200 is little bit more tricky so i left it this time, depends how good you are with filler and paint, a body shop would probably paint the whole bumper! if the bumper needs attention then good opportunity to get it re done. i did remember lexusownersclub years ago someone either got some 1 pence size badges and fitted them on the holes and another fitted some small circular led lights, however may not look tidy if you want to keep the bumper clean looking.

When I changed my original license plate to a Japanese one for a car show, I used Toyota stickerfix. It is covered the holes perfectly!
