Some Advice Needed For "Shifter Clicking"

Hey guys, whats up?

I am in need of some advice. I know many of you guys must have changed your tezza's brake pads yourselfs. Well i did too, I did everything "by the book" (cleaned & greased)
In the beginning the pads seemed as if they were not really holding but not that i have driven it a couple of days its doing way better and holding up right!
But here's the issue:
I noticed that when the car is in park, there is a clicking sound coming from the shifter area. Meaning if i step, release and step release i hear clicking sounds comming from the shifter area. I am not sure if it has something to do with the red button on the shifter of whati did wrong when changing the brake pads. Because this was not an issue before the (front) brake pads change.I must add that when the car is either shut off or in "drive" that the clicking is not present.

Thx guys for any input

It sounds to be your shifter interlock device to prevent the car from going from Park to R, N, or D, with out your foot on the brake pedal. I believe that Altezza automatic shifters are electronic, so under the center council, there should be an electric solenoid. You could try going in there and touch it up with a bit of lubricant.
