Clicking noise??

Postby Dan » Thu Oct 11, 2007 5:24 pm

Thought i posted this up before but couldnt find it anywhere. So im getting a clicking noise coming form where i think is the front drivers side caliper, it only happens the odd time and usually at low speeds when i brake and come to a full stop, i was thinking maybe it the pad moving in the caliper(maybe wrong ones were used previously) Anyone know what im talking about or has experienced the same issue, and have a possible solution? new pads on the way soon so maybe that might fix the problem!

I have that on the Celica aswell. It seems to be a Toyota issue. I read somewhere that they had developed an adhesive pad to hold the brake pad in place. I haven't asked about it anywhere for fear of being laughed at

I'm going to change the pads and shims and the retaining clip to see if it stops. In the meantime i'm going to turn up the radio :D
