Postby Tez » Wed Jul 18, 2007 4:21 pm

im in the middle of taking off my brakes to put on my endless calipers.now when you take the disc and caliper off you have a steel plate behind the disc its held on by four 10mm bolts.i took them off but theres no way for the plate to come over the hub?how does it come off???

Think you have to remove the whole plate that the 5 bolts are on. If you have to do that you might end up havint to replace the wheel bearing as thats the bit you have to take out. I read before that the big plate you want to take off is actually very effective for cooling so maybe you could just trim that to fit your calipers and leave it on
