ImageGreetings! Welcome to Tezzaworld website, unfortunately you are a few years late to the show as nearly everyone has been and gone, there is still lots of useful archived material to read through, not many active users unfortunately, but that’s the way it goes, hopefully you are not too disappointed...

ADjusting coilovers??

Postby Dan » Wed Jun 20, 2007 7:26 pm

So I've figured out how to adjust the height on the coilovers. Now to adjust the dampening? At the top of each shock is a little adjuster ring with a load of symbols on it. any idea which is harder/softer etc

At a guess I'd say 1 notch is soft going up to 6 notches hardest...
Set them all at 1 for a while, then 2 etc.. you'll find the best setting after a bit of driving on different settings.
BTW, did you find a way of securing your brake pipes and ABS wires to the strut legs? Just thinking that the NCT man mite insist on a bracket..

Sound.. a couple of nice aluminium brackets could be made fairly handy for them all the same..

i'd just set them to 1 and then drive a road you know well... then set them to 6 and drive again...

after that you'll know what both extremes are and maybe settle for somewhere in between...

Measure the section where the ABS wire would normally bolt onto the original strut..
