Racing Calipers

Postby matty » Thu Dec 04, 2014 7:23 am

As part of my race build, I am trying to sort the brake set up. Has anyone found caliper/mounts for either AP racing or Brembo? Brembo do a GT kit, but it's not suitable for racing. I am looking at http://www.apracing.com/product_details ... -3s4l.aspx
but can't sort the mounts/bells.
Any suggestions?
thanks

A Full Ap racing brake kit is available from supergt in Hk and also direct from Ap. Toms do a 4 pot Alcon kit and the new D2 race setup is also very good.

Thanks for the reply. I spoke with AP, but they said they had no kit, but the CP9440 caliper would fit, but they had no mounting bracket or bells, so might be more engineering required! I'll try Super GT

Just an update on this - I finally got some brackets made to fit AP CP3799 calipers - very shiny! They are aluminium so if anyone wants a pair, let me know. Now have decent stopping power with 330 discs and braided lines.
