Worn Tires Front Or Back?

After months of searching, i finally managed to get my hands on a set of original 17" wheels. I noticed however that theres uneven wear on the tires, i.e, 2 are slightly more worn than the other 2.

Was wondering if anyone can suggest where to put the more worn ones, front or back? I need to use the car whilst i save up for a new set of 4.

Depends how bad they are, and what your car tyres are wearing like, my front wear worse than the rear's but doesn't really matter too much but would put the better tyres on the front that way the front won't slip out but doesn't matter too much on the rear as you can have a bit of fun and it's easier to correct the back end rather than the front

I'd put the worse ones on the back too

Your front wear worse than your rear's? Interesting.....you shouldn't make assumptions based on your skill level...for u it maybe easier to correct the rear while someone else might panick when the tails steps out and spin out.....anyway I think the op was more interested safety( worn tires can never be safe) than fun.....I would put the better tires on the drive wheels cus with worn out tires on the rear I wouldnt dare drive in the rain or a dusty road..ass will step out happily dats y its more fun( at the track) on public roads no sir

true but always would prefer the back to step out rather than the front as is a lot easier to correct the back compared to the front, but does depend on how bad they are, as if there too bad then I would change them,
Mines lowered and am not heavy footed my rear wear quicker but more evenly, my fronts are fairly close to the rear but scrub on the inside, need to find somewhere to do a good tracking setup

I would always put the better tyres on the front!

What brand are the tyres? Are they all the same?

What I mean by better at front is not judged by tread wear but by how good the tyre is. Ie performance/budget.

As I beleive a good tyre with minimal tread would still be better than a budget tyre with more tread.

Hope you can see the difference in the pic. The top one is the "less worn" one. Second one is the "more worn". So, not a huge difference, but it is there.

All 4 are the Bridgestone. I can't tell you the exact model right now, as you can see, i've taped up the sides as i am attempting a DIY re-painting job.

They look like winter tyres! Plenty road noise off them!

look pretty close to the limit from what I can see (on the shoulder) and really I would be looking to change them soon as possible as your only going to have them for a few months before they need replacing so save on fitting cost
